It all begins with an idea. The idea that music education and art should be accessible to everyone. The idea that the diversity of our international neighborhood should be celebrated. The idea that no matter how big or small the community, everyone deserves to experience high-quality art. The idea that music and art are great unifiers created to tell stories, share experiences and bring life to the past, present, and future. That is who we are. We are the Borderland Arts Foundation.

The Borderland Arts Foundation is a collective of musicians joined together by a shared passion for exploring and celebrating the diversity within classical music. Together, we work to explore repertoire that represents the diversity and varied perspectives of our border communities. The Borderland Arts Foundation was created to enhance, stimulate, and develop personal growth.

The Borderland Arts Foundation’s commitment is to advancing music education and accessibility to the arts within our communities. Our organization seeks to build a cultural connection between the United States and Mexico by actively creating opportunities for students and professional musicians from both countries to perform and work together.
